Day 31: 50 Days of Prayer for the Persecuted Church: Malaysia

Today we pray for Malaysia. Here there is a clear ethnic superiority with the native people in the way they treat foreigner and migrant workers as well as those who don’t accept their religion of choice. They even have re-education camps for those who convert to Christianity, as to ‘bring them back’ to their faith.
For more information, Open Doors USA has some details. They estimate just under 3 million Christians in the population of 31 million people.

Please pray with me and add your prayers in the comments.

Father, we pray for Malaysia. We ask that you give the Malaysia people a wisdom and vision on what they need to do here on the ground. Guide them in being able to forgive those who persecuted them as to be an example of your love to their oppressors and those witnessing it. Turn these re-education camps into revival epicenters where thousands if not millions of people come to know you. Envelope Malaysia with your love and forgiveness, let if overflow onto the neighbouring Islands. Bless the Malaysian people. Amen
