Day 27: 50 Days of Prayer for the Persecuted church: Jordan

Today we pray for Jordan. A country that is know for being open to refugees from the surrounding countries, the openness to Christian believers is dwindling. Fear not only from the police but new converts are being abducted by their families in efforts to turn them back to their beliefs.

For more information, Open Doors USA has some details. They estimate just under 170,000 Christians in the population of 7.9 million people.

Please pray with me and add your prayers in the comments.

Father, we pray Jordan. We ask that you be with the Jordanian believers as they go through daily life. May the love of these believers be seen be the numerous refugees who are entering the country. Provide protection from police raids and family abductions. Work miracles through your servants as to showcase your power and faithfulness to the nation. Let the gospel be displayed to all. Amen
