Day 26: 50 Days of Prayer for the Persecuted Church: Bangladesh

Today we pray for Bangladesh. This country has no laws or constitution against Christianity or other religions, yet the persecution comes from the people who are dedicated to their religion. The government is known to give in easily and not stand against such oppression.

For more information, Open Doors USA has some details. They estimate just under 870,000 Christians in the population of 165 million people.

Please pray with me and add your prayers in the comments.

Father, we pray for Bangladesh. The struggle for these believers is at the street level. This might even it make it more difficult as it is more of a radical persecution. We pray for those who would openly persecute believers, may they see you on their own road to Damascus and change their lives forever. Raise up repented converts who will make impacts in Bangladesh. The believers do not have open access to scripture, we ask that this will change. Provide opportunities for the word to be distributed to those who want to serve you and those who need to see it. Move powerfully in Bangladesh. Amen
