Day 20: 50 Days of Prayer for the Persecuted Church: Qatar

Today we pray for Qatar. This country is made up of 90% migrant workers, many are considered slaves or are in forced labour. The religion they bring with them is subject to their laws and their viewpoints, leading to believers being executed for their faith.

For more information, Open Doors USA has some details. They estimate just over 200,000 Christians in the population of 2.3 million people.

Please pray with me and add your prayers in the comments.

Father, we pray for Qatar. The harsh working conditions and restrictive nature has many migrant workers scared to share their faith. Why would anyone travel to this country for work, we pray that the truth of what is happening in Qatar rises to the surface. Strengthen the believers in Qatar, give them open hearts to tell about your love and truth. Provide better working condition for those who have move there for work. We pray that the Qataris will be drawn to Jesus with whatever means you deem necessary. Amen
