Day 19: 50 Days of Prayer for the Persecuted Church: Turkmenistan

Today we pray for Turkmenistan. This is a very restrictive country. Monitoring of its people is common place. Believers are pressured to return to their original beliefs.

For more information, Open Doors USA has some details. They estimate just under 70,000 Christians in the population of 5.5 million people

.

Please pray with me and add your prayers in the comments.

Father, we pray for Turkmenistan. This country is cut off from the world, but God we know it is not cut off from you. We don’t hear much about this nation but we pray that the world would be awakened to the plight of her people, that the oppression would cease. Give your children wisdom and discretion in who they talk to as listening devices and spies are everywhere in the country. In spite of all that bring a revival to Turkmenistan. Help it to rise up as a Christian nation who love you. Soften the hearts of those who persecute. Bring hope to her people. Amen
