Day 11: 50 Days of Prayer for the Persecuted Church: Libya

Today we pray for Libya. The few believers in Libya are subject to extreme violence if they are vocal about their faith.

For more information Open Doors USA has some details. They estimate 20,000 Christians in the population of just under 6.5 million.

Please pray with me and add your prayers in the comments.

Father, we pray for Libya. We pray for a government who will stand up for believers and protect their right to worship. We ask that you will help them make wise choices in their governing. We pray for the believers in Libya. Just as a little yeast in the bread can make the who ball of dough rise, we pray that these believers will grow in untold numbers as they share you love through out Libya. We pray for revival in Libya and freedom from fear. Protect our brothers and sisters in Christ. Amen
