Day 2: 50 Days of Pray for the Persecuted Church: Somalia

Todays persecuted country is Somalia. The country is firm in its Islamic beliefs and the tribal belief systems. The church is deep underground as even the hint of walking away from Islam can get you executed.

For more information Open Doors USA has some details. They estimate a few hundred Christians in the population of 11 million.

Please pray with me and add your prayers in the comments.

Father, we pray for Somalia. The enemy has a frim hold of this area and we pray for a mighty shake up. We ask that you strengthen the resolve of the believers in their desire to serve you. We ask that you send revival to the leaders of the nation of Somalia. Send believers to reach out to the change makers of the country, people in position and soften their hearts. We pray for safety of every believer and anyone who accepts you. Help us from the outside fight for Somalia that she will be set free from the enemy and become a nation of yours. Amen.
